Introduction
The Pawn is located at No. 60-66 Johnston Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong. It consists of 4 connected buildings with long corridor-style balconies. The four-storey building was built between 1888 and 1900. It has a history of more than one hundred years. Escaped from being demolished and rebuilt a year ago, the Urban Renewal Authority spent more than HK$15 million to complete the conservation and renovation project in 2007. It was converted into a high-end daily necessities store selling traditional food and antiques, and the upper 3 floors were converted into The high-end British bar and restaurant The Pawn.
