Hong Kong PHAB Association

The Hong Kong Association for the Disabled and Health is committed to promoting a model of the concept of "disabled and healthy integration". The Disability (representing the disabled and able-bodied) movement originated in the United Kingdom.

On October 19, 1972, the Hong Kong Association for the Disabled and Health was formally established to coordinate and promote sports for the disabled in the community. The mission of the Hong Kong Association for the Disabled and Health is to promote the concept of "disabled and healthy integration" and to cooperate with the development of services in the social welfare sector.

The purpose of the association is to promote the concept of "disabled and healthy", so that the disabled and able-bodied people of old and young can participate in various social, recreation, development, education, training, employment and community support side by side in a barrier-free environment.
