The Shing Mun Valley Park has both dynamic and static recreational facilities, providing citizens with a good place for sports and leisure. The park is divided into a North Park and a South Park: The main facilities of the North Park include tennis courts, elderly fitness parks and children’s playgrounds, and the South Park has 7 people. Hard-surface football and handball courts, basketball and volleyball courts, fitness grounds for the elderly, pebble walking trails, and children's playgrounds. There are also artificial water features divided into 4 floors according to the terrain.

Most of the uneven places are equipped with ramps, and the ramps are relatively flat, so wheelchair users can easily get on and off.
The Shing Mun Valley Sports Ground is built on a hillside, and there will be slopes during walking. Wheelchair users are not recommended to go alone. If necessary, it is recommended to travel by car or take a wheelchair taxi to the destination.
