Introduction

Lai Chi Kok Park is constructed in three phases, with a total area of 17.65 hectares. The park provides a number of recreational and sports facilities. The adjacent supporting facilities include Lai Chi Kok Park swimming pool, gymnasium and library. The famous "Lingnan Wind" is located in Lai Chi Kok Park (Phase 3), a Chinese-style park with a traditional Lingnan style, covering an area of approximately 12,500 square meters. There are ponds, streams, bridge corridors, hills and unique pavilions in the garden. The courtyard pavilions are connected by corridors. The park is divided into ten scenic spots, full of elegance and leisure.

There are a number of barrier-free facilities in the park, including ramps, passage design, lifts, accessible toilets and parking spaces for the disabled. The design fully considers the needs of wheelchairs/persons with reduced mobility. Most of the uneven places are equipped with ramps, and the ramps are relatively flat, so wheelchair users can easily get on and off.
