彭福公園位於沙田馬場跑道內圍中央，佔地逾20英畝。公園草地偌大，家長可與小朋友在草地上玩遊戲，或鋪上膠墊席地野餐、寫生、看白雲等，享受大自然的寧靜舒適。此處是熱門的溜狗地點，假日時常可見不同品種的小狗。有觀鳥人士認為園內有逾67種野鳥棲息，是名副其實的野鳥天堂。
