Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council (hereinafter referred to as the "Welfare Council") was established in 1966. It is an organization responsible for social welfare services of the Hong Kong Anglican Church.

Diversified services, full care
In line with the service motto of "Individual Care and Comprehensive Care", the Welfare Association not only provides elderly, child, youth, family and comprehensive services, but also covers rehabilitation, counselling, medical care, training and consulting services.

Other projects include short-term food assistance, social enterprise and other services, hoping to help the weak and the poor, help others to help themselves, and fully care for the physical, mental, social and spiritual needs of service users.

In addition to providing services directly, the Welfare Association also coordinates the social service-related member organizations of the Anglican Church, including St. James' Settlement, Anglican St. Christopher's Home, Anglican Lady MacLehose Center, and St. Community centers and Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Chi Kwong Church Neighbourhood Elderly Center, etc.; and actively cooperate and cooperate with schools and pastoral areas to promote the support and cooperation of partners from all walks of life to jointly build an inclusive society.

Leading innovation, high-quality management
Welfare Association has always been a pioneer in developing innovative services and responding to social needs. Since the 1980s, the Welfare Association has gradually established a quality service culture.

In order to continuously improve service quality, it implemented comprehensive quality management in 1996. It is the first social service organization in Hong Kong to hire full-time personnel to promote occupational safety. Management or occupational safety and health awards, and many units have successfully obtained certifications and different recognitions, fully demonstrating the effectiveness of high-quality management.

The association is also very concerned about the physical and mental health of its co-workers. Since 2003, it has embarked on a "Caring Journey" to actively build a caring culture through physical and mental activities.
