The Po Leung Kuk History Museum is located in the Po Leung Kuk Headquarters, Leighton Road, and provides various services such as exhibition guided tours, information access and lectures for the public. Since its establishment in 1998, the museum has been actively collecting, compiling, protecting and restoring the bureau’s cultural relics files, as well as conducting various file management and historical and cultural preservation tasks. The exhibition hall regularly changes exhibits for special exhibitions, hoping to make more people aware of the relationship between the Council and the development of Hong Kong society and the various social services that are advancing with the times.
The Po Leung Kuk History Museum does not have barrier-free facilities, including ramps and accessible toilets. There are not enough barrier-free facilities in the attractions, and wheelchair users are not recommended to go alone.
(Why is the area that the museum can visit, why is the Dongtai Lady Memorial Hall (Guandi Hall) and the Lin Jiongwei Exhibition Hall, some of them are still spacious, if visitors (wheelchairs/persons with reduced mobility) need assistance, the Po Leung Kuk History Museum will also try its best to arrange it.)
The Po Leung Kuk History Museum has a history of nearly a hundred years. There are no barrier-free facilities and wheelchair users are not suitable to go alone.
