Kwai Tsing Theatre

Introduction

The Kwai Tsing Theatre opened in November 1999 and its inauguration marked a new milestone in the development of Hong Kong's performing arts and culture. Over the years, it has provided high-quality support for countless local and inbound stage productions, and presented a variety of brilliant performances to the audience. The main performance venues of the theater are the auditorium and the black box theater. The well-equipped auditorium has 899 seats and is suitable for various types of performances. The black box theater can accommodate 130 to 160 spectators. It is the first black box theater under the Leisure and Cultural Services Department and is designed for small and experimental theaters. In addition, the theater is equipped with lecture rooms, dance studios and rehearsal rooms, suitable for different types of cultural and entertainment activities; the square covering an area of 5,000 square meters is an oasis for busy urban life.
