Purpose of the discount plan

Allow the elderly and eligible persons with disabilities to use designated public transportation and services at a discounted fare of RMB 2 per trip, thereby encouraging them to integrate into the community and build a caring and inclusive society.

To Beneficiaries

-Seniors 65 years of age or above.

-Recipients of the Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) scheme with a disability of 100% under the age of 65; and disability allowance recipients under the age of 65.

How to enjoy the offer

-Elderly: Use Elderly Octopus or Personal Octopus.

-Eligible persons with disabilities: use a personal octopus with a photo-printed "person with a disability status".

**Note: This preferential plan is not applicable to the payment of car/boat fares in cash.
