Zhou Tianyu, a 6-year-old girl, became a vegetative due to a medical accident. While her family was investigating the hospital involved, Zhou's father set up an online group to keep updating her daughter's situation. Today (21st) Dad Zhou mentioned that he had an appointment with a Chinese physician. The other party not only agreed to follow up Tian Yu’s condition, but also taught him some massage methods, hoping to improve his daughter’s condition. Dad Zhou was very moved.

Dad Zhou posted on the Facebook group "Tianyu Medical Incident Concern Group", saying that he recently learned of a free clinic service called "Angel Action" from a TV program. Through a friend's needles, he visited the "Yida Hui" who is in charge of related projects. "Min" Chinese Medicine Center met with the founder Huang Tianci, a Chinese medicine practitioner, hoping to find ways to help his daughter from the perspective of Chinese medicine.

Father Zhou said that in addition to agreeing to follow up on Tian Yu’s condition, Dr. Huang also taught some massage methods that were helpful to Tian Yu. "Dr. Huang was very enthusiastic and patient in explaining the whole process. I really felt it from him. What is the heart of the healer's parents? He is the real "Benevolent Doctor under the Starry Sky"."

Finally, Dad Zhou mentioned in his post that he would upload the short video of massage teaching methods he shot to his special page, hoping to help other people in need.

Medical malpractice during tumor removal surgery

A 6-year-old girl, Zhou Tianyu, was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma (stage 4) 3 years ago. After receiving chemotherapy, her condition improved. The tumor in her brain shrank to a surgical resection. However, her family suffered a medical accident during the operation at Queen Mary Hospital last year. It was pointed out that the hospital's negligence included delays in the operation of the patient's blood transfusion for up to 48 minutes. Tianyu, who was 4 years old at the time, was still paralyzed, unconscious and vegetative after the operation in May 2020.

Tian Yu has been in bed for 16 months after the operation. After the incident, she stayed in the Intensive Care Department of Queen Mary Hospital for more than one year. She was transferred to the Duchess of Kent Hospital on May 31 this year to continue rehabilitation. The doctor assessed Tian Yu’s condition. Severe intellectual disability, currently paralyzed all over, needs to rely on a ventilator to maintain his life. She was only 4 years old at the time of the incident, and her family is investigating the Queen Mary Hospital and Hong Kong Children's Hospital involved.
